From 16 to 19 May 2023, the 10th Annual China Entrepreneurship Development Conference was held in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.
Mr. Zhang Gangzhu, Chairman of Xi'an Tianhou Group, was invited to attend the meeting and had a dialogue with Mr. Sun Xiaohua, Chairman of China Environmental Protection Association and former Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Kwon Shunji, Chairman of China Association for Economic Development in Asia, Mr. Ding Yuangang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Yuanda Group, Mr. Chen Pengfei, President of the China Government and Enterprise Department of LONGi Green Energy Technology Company Limited, and Mr. Tang Renhu, Deputy to the People's Congress of Beijing Municipality and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Zhongchuang Carbon Investment Technology Company Limited in the parallel forum.
Under the theme of ‘ESG Helps “Dual Carbon” Goal’, the dialogue will focus on three aspects: the dimensions for enterprises to achieve the dual carbon goal through ESG, how to collaborate with all levels of the society to promote the implementation of the carbon neutrality goal, and how to reflect the ESG in the business strategy of the enterprises.
Zhang Gangzhu, chairman of Tianhou, said in the dialogue: from the beginning of energy saving and emission reduction to the subsequent pollution control and haze reduction, Tianhou has been driving in the wave of ‘double carbon’ and has never deviated from the course.
The country keeps upgrading the oil quality standard, updating from National 1 to National 6, to improve the cleanliness of diesel fuel and the combustion efficiency of machinery and equipment to combat the problem of exhaust emissions; and to combat the problem of urban air pollution by relocating and transforming industrial enterprises. And Tianhou strives to solve the problem in the simplest way. Chairman Zhang Gangzhu puts forward: to solve the root factors of pollution and improve the operation efficiency of machinery and equipment, one is to improve the oil quality of fuel and the other is to improve the oil quality of lubricant of machinery and equipment.
Tianhou has been focusing on discovering, researching and solving the lubrication problems of mechanical equipment for thirty years. It has completed the government-organised diesel vehicle exhaust pollution control project in Xi'an, which has treated 20,000 diesel vehicles and achieved significant economic and social benefits. The treatment not only reduces the fuel consumption and failure rate of mechanical equipment and prolongs the service life of the equipment, but also, more importantly, solves the problem of exhaust emission and improves the atmospheric pollution in Xi'an.
Chairman Zhang Gangzhu also put forward the idea that if everyone can pay attention to the lubrication of machinery and equipment, and if the country's 70 million diesel vehicles in use can be managed, it will not only improve the operational efficiency of enterprises, but also promote the ESG strategy; for society, it will not only promote the economic development, but also make a significant contribution to achieving the goal of ‘double carbon’. For society, it will not only promote economic development, but also contribute to the achievement of the ‘dual-carbon’ goal.
