        As is well known, lubrication is essential for the operation of any large-scale equipment. The more advanced the equipment, the higher the precision and price of the lubricating oil and related components used. The price of lubricating oil ranges from a few yuan per kilogram to several hundred thousand yuan, and high-end oil is almost to the point of turning oil into gold. The consumption of lubricating oil in China has jumped to the top in the world, and the impact of lubricating oil on the national economy is obvious. However, in terms of value, the consumption cost of lubricating oil only accounts for 2% -3% of the equipment loss cost. This is a very exaggerated value, that is, the consumption cost of lubricating oil only accounts for one-fifty to one thirtieth of the equipment loss cost. This is the charm of lubrication management.

       For over thirty years, the oil change cycle for various engines in China has been around 5000 kilometers, which means that the lubricating oil needs to be changed every 5000 kilometers of operation. So far, this method has been consistently used. Under the same circumstances, the oil change cycle in Europe is between 30000 to 50000 kilometers. Why?

       Over the past thirty years, China's roads, engine quality, and lubricant grades have undergone qualitative changes. However, the oil change cycle is still the standard from thirty years ago, which is an important reason why China's lubricant consumption has jumped to the world's top, and this is the development prospects of the lubrication management industry.

       The service life of Swedish bearings is more than ten times longer than that of domestically produced ones, because they carry out "active maintenance" during the production of bearings, and finely filter the lubricating grease injected into the bearings by 2-3 microns; The current car engine is quite reliable, and no one will worry about replacing their car due to engine damage. If it needs to be replaced, it must be due to its long service life, outdated appearance, or outdated model. Why? Because people use high-quality coolant, lubricating oil, daily maintenance at 4S stores, and replacement of high-quality filters for their cars, that is, they actively maintain their car's engine.

       The price of high-power diesel engines ranges from tens of thousands to millions of yuan per unit. Generally, a major overhaul is required after running for one to one and a half years, and the cost of the overhaul is one-third of the engine price. After the overhaul, it will be scrapped after running for another year. Why do imported engines have a lifespan 3-5 times longer than domestic engines in the same environment? Because people actively maintain imported engines.

      China has a huge number of engines, and the waste caused can be imagined. If its lifespan can be extended by 2-3 times; If it can generate 5% to 10% fuel efficiency; What would happen if the maintenance cost of the engine could be reduced by 100 times?
